This is the before shot!

If you want to know how read the thread from page 1.

I have read Street Machine since I was a kid and am still amazed to be included as a shed built UC.

Big thanks to www.gmh-torana.com.au !

Cannot see why you spent so much time and effort - it was fine as it was  ;)

Obviously just joking - apart from the fine subject matter- you got a good photographer there as well!

Car looks great. But please fill those guards out with some big wheels and tyres.

Back again after a couple of years of tearing up corners. Sold my rims today to fulfil a teenage dream. Going back to old school. Buying some Simmons V5s 15x10s and 15x8s. First step....1/2 inch wheel studs.

My only concern is you saying 8"s and 10"s rather than 10"s and 12"s. I hope it's a typo.

15 x 8s Front and 15 x 10s Rear. Back to old school with 265s

I tried 295s and they fit but would need to swap flares to 20mm wider A9X size or jack the rear up to avoid scrubbing.

The car handles amazing as is with the chassis kit and the low stance.

Will play like this for a while first.

Added front VF SS Redline Commodore seats. Complete with electrics.  Very comfy and similar look to factory A9X.

Rears next....

The grey is my old rear seats. The Commy's are wider. Easy fix..
Cut and trim and then weld the original steel inserts back together.

Tip: Use fire blankets

These are the original and Commy backs.

They were too tall so trimmed them down and the cut and shaped a centre section.
They have a large mdf board that runs along the back to join and attaches to the original mounts.

Then off to the trimmer.... used the original leather. Built on a budget still.

I don't need them to fold down as my car is for driving not sleeping.

Next on to door cards....
