Hey guys, what's the go with bolting a LJ front onto a TA torana? Is it just a change over and a new crossmember or is their alot more involved? Any help would be great.

The fronts are welded.

yeah but you can take the whole front clip off.

I think ((not sure though)) the front sub frame rails are longer, and as you already know it's a job in itself to correctly unpick all the spot welds from both cars... Has been done before and you won't be the last so "Go 4 it Dude"......

I've read on here that the fire walls and rear suspension mounts are different too. It's all welded, big job. There is no "clip" so to speak.
One comment was the quickest way is to cut and shut..............but that's illegal in Vic.

The engine bays are different length/widths, suspension as well. Why is the question? I have gm engineering book covering both 4 and 6 front ends.
