Thats more than I have been able to find out about that car and its engine in 10 years! I have an old wheels article that mentions it but is light on specifics.

Your uncle may be able to narrow it down ,There was a well known dragger , who used to parade his wife around in hot pants around that time .

I actually saw the car race on a number of occasions in Sydney and it was a lot quicker than any other 6 cylinder holden. To the best of my knowledge it was the first holden to run slicks, the rest were running really wide road racing tyres and as a result got a lot of wheelspin. Harrops car was automatic when I saw it and it was set up way better than the opposition. It got the power to the ground much better than all the other earlies and was almost pulling the left front wheel off the ground. The engine had triple 2inch su's and was easy to start,[it started on its own starter motor whereas lots of the others required jump or push starting] it did not appear to be cranky at all even when idling. It was the most impressive car to watch, as it all happened with a minimum of fuss. All the other holdens were trying to get into the 13's and only the best were doing those times, Keegans Kustom, Moores Missile, and Warren Armour were all very similar from memory and then along came Harrop and basically blew them all away.
Cheers Greg
