centre console shift pattern or not?

Hi all can anyone tell me if the 72-73 lj xu1s have the little square shift pattern on the centre console as im told the lj gtr has the pattern on the gear nob and xu1 on the console

Hi

My Adelaide 10/72 XU1 has a plain knob and pattern block on console.

Don't forget that an XU1 is still a GTR. The parts manual makes no distintion in terms of gear stick knobs and gearshift pattern blocks. It follows that the knob and pattern block would be the same on both variants.
