Those heads are cheap compared to some that get whacked on sprintcar 410s!

with regards to the 400 bit we run a little m block with 4.125 bore to unshroud the valves.
agree with cubes the way to go for easy hp,but looking at what the guys in f gas (280 cube max)
its there to do,i think geddes did a pb of 7.63 out of his deal. depending on class rules 10k on heads is cheap,
last motor we blew up had in excess of 25k spent on them over the years.the 355 sb in the torrie cost 8.5k all up
and should make 450hp,with standard crank and flat tops.
Glenn i, yeah been running c/aa for 5 years,did a 8.02 when national record was 7.98,now record is 7.73 so having
season off.
