Whats the go with the turbo?

I know of another one with one on it aswell, did someone do them as an aftermarket/option thingy?

Would this detract or add to the value?

turbo is there for scaring the shit out of you. I have a mag somewhere with a white A9X hatch with a turbo and the is 25yrs old

:D nice find and buy. Well done :spoton:
Didn't know dealers were into fitting Turbos to A9X's back then. Learn someting new each day.
As you said about head turning. The genral public don't know an A9X from one that lokks a bit like one. Any torrie with a tough sounding motor always turns heads (well apart from a UC, sorry UC guys thats just reality).

Good Onya Pip :spoton:

The A9X would be my next pick if I had the Do Re Mi to get another Torana.

Regards ................ Barry.

Dont forget to bin the white fluff on the rear parcel shelf either ,only thing that is good for is catching the dead flies.

Congrats on finding such a nice car enjoy!!!!!

Looks like the aerial is gone too. My old man had one on his XR Fairmont when I was a kid way back in the 70's. Had the clip on the gutter to hold it down, memories........
Wish he'd kept the XR for me. Sol it in about 1978, was a maroon colored 289. Sold it to a local young bloke who lowered it, put wide hotwires on it, it looked cool but wrote it off soon after.
Maybe it was just as well, if I'd got the XR I may never have gotten into Torana's.

That A9X looks awesome, an unrestored A9X is a rare beast indeed.
