One thing to add to the Kinchrome story is, they have an outlet shop at their disribution center.
They sell old, excess, returned stock (missing components)& damaged.
It can be a lucky dip but you can usually find partial spanner sets with 1 missing (usually the 13 or 17mm) but at fairly good discounted prices.
I have a customer nearby so i drop in regularly, have bought 2 sets of an item to get a full set, but then have spares.
They open the shop on Wednesdays and Fridays and they are at 3 Lakeview Dr Scoresby VIC 3179, just off Ferntree Gully Rd (Carribean Gardens industrial area, Cummins is on the corner that you need to turn into)
P.S. they have signs out when their open

If my missus knew how much money i have spent at that place she'd go nuts.
I bought a Kinchrome 3/8 drive tention wrench (the click type) brand new without its case for $100.00
Also bought a micrometer type 3/8 drive tention wrench with its plastic case a few weeks earlier for a friend for $120.00
Like i said a bit, hit and miss but if you drop in and have a browse regularly, you will pickup some good stuff at a good price.
