Fitting HQ (type) V8 Radiator into LX

Gday All

I have a v8 radiator from a HZ that i would like to fit to my LX

I have cut the left and right trays to accomadate extra width

The top mounting holes line up (does this make it right height???)

Its just the bottom mounts i need to sort (the original holes of v8 end up too low)

??? What have others done...pics would be great

yeah i just put a new 2core hq series radiator in the L34, i trimmed the radiator sides 150mm up from the bottom, the top holes are correct but needs flattining out to fit tin cover. drill new bottom holes . I personly wouldnt cut the car.

car is nothing special, an original S 6cyl so wasnt to worried about
small nicks i took out (6mm wide x 8mm deep)
