programmed obsolescence, products are built with a limited life on purpose, tyres arent much different imo.
Forklift licences are probably the easiest of any licence you will get in a lifetime!

inbuilt on most nowdays.....if you know where to look you can do it in 30 seconds.....some even have a button on the dashChop, I worked for australias largest forklift company (right up to container forks) for 5 years
Most forklifts could be easily speed limited, but they always opt not to.
the rules are changing when i was in nsw 5 years ago they where introducing a log book system

ohh, there is a log book, but anyone can basically sign it and like the old L plater books, its easy to forge on the day! haha.
I got mine at 18, hell, I studied the hell out of the manual, but the instructor basically gave you the answer if you missed
