Wow what a great night. Did 5 runs total. Best 2 reaction times were 0.06 0.07 the rest were 0.2 0.3
Dropped the 60ft time Down to 1.8 from my original 2.2. Suspension changes and the street slicks worked awesome. Really good tyres even know they were quiet bald.
Best et was 12.2 which I am stoked with ( my best et before tyre/susp change was 13.2) It ran constant 12.3 12.4's. I think it can go quicker as it was 36-40deg at 8pm. Might go back closer to winter when it cools down. Will upload the vids Tomoz with all details

Still having issues with the vids but give me time and ill upload them.

Nice work mate, good to see the changes you made are working. Was it pretty busy?

I heard there was a vn v6 turbo down there last night running 10.6 n the car owes him 6k or something.

Awesome Chris can't wait to see the vids. Thanks for sharing all those numbers too mate, they will come in very handy for someone like me who hasn't ran at the track yet.

Cheers

Had stiff sports low springs all round. Shocks were all set at stiff. Put original 6 cyl springs in the front. 90/10 shocks in the front. 50/50 shocks in the rear. Tried a few diff springs in the rear but ended up putting the stiff sports lows back in. also went from 225 50 15's to 235 60 15 mickey t street radial rear tyres. mind you i had to put 30mm spacers in the rear and the tyres still rub hard.

I might add I raced a ford that was running 11.8 -11.9’s and I would beat him until prob the last 50m then he would beat me by a car length. So im thinking I had the right amount of torque to get me out of hole but ran out of hp in the top end?

In what way Andy? It's a ford 9in full spool. Apart from the springs/shocks nothing much. I'm supposed to raise the pivot point on the diff for the upper control arm but just haven't done it

Well done, you should be pleased with your work. When I was using Drag Radials, I found that 14psi was the best air pressure in my LJ, 10psi was a bit too squirmy in the top end.

Dont forget they move the start line back about a meter for Wed nites that afects your 60 foot times.
And i now they say not to run radials below 18psi but i run mine as low as 12psi and they dont prep the track on wed nites
thats why i pick wed nites after a tuning day.
PS i ran 10.9 on those tyres
