Will be replacing the oil pump on my 308 SS sometime in the near future and need to know what should I go for seeing that original ones are probably no longer available at Holden. The motor will be rebuild to stock specs so it doesn't have to be some super dooper oil pump, just something good and as close to the original as possible.Maybe someone has one NOS that they want to sell??

Thanks

Give your Holden dealer a ring even if it's only to get a price. They went into all 308s (and maybe 253s) so that is up into the Commodores and they may have even used them in the true 5 litre (304) engines too so that goes into the late 80s.

I have a 308 stroker that i just finished building and every person i spoke to said just fit a JP performance standard pump, so i did.

That would be my pick.

mine has a JP pump also. they are just a standard pump with all the shitty casting burrs on the inside cleaned up, and maybe a different spring. so they look as original
