Going with JAR for this, nice guy, willing to go out of his way to help you out.

Lent me a radiator to measure up over the weekend without ever laying eyes on me.

I'll throw some pictures up when I get my finished product back

went for a 56mm core

Very happy with the price and the finished product.

To cap off the topic-

- Fenix radiators are EXCEPTIONALLY well priced, however DO NOT expect to fit them in a standard LC/LJ torana engine bay without cutting and drilling the radiator support. Longevity may prove to be an issue, but at this stage, it would appear that its a good buy.

- JAR (Nathan) is an extremely helpful bloke and willing to go out of his way to get the job done. He drove from Botany to Artarmon to pick up the radiator after lending it to me (I had it couriered, so he had never met me) for a weekend to trial fit before a final fabrication.

I picked the finished product up from his house at 7.30 friday night, so well outside his working hours. the 56mm core with 70mm-ish tanks fits in the standard location with no mods. I have chosen to run dome headed bolts (capscrews) on the water pump pulley to give me more clearance for engine movement.

The lower tank sits half an inch, to an inch from the romac balancer (bit squeezy) but there is sufficient clearance.

Again I can't comment on longevity, but the welding appears to be of good quality. the alloy plate used for the tanks is OK, it is difficult to polish though (not sure what that indicates)

Nathan used a core with a small blemish and was therefore able to reduce the cost while still offering a replacement for 2 years if this core leaks. (GOOD STUFF!)

all in all, I've not got 2 alloy radiatored cars and I'm happy with how both turned out.
