What did the LH washer bottle look like? Is it the same as LX?

I've seen these RSP ones, however I'm not sure if they suit LH? Also do these items include the motor/pump assy???

Are you aware if an original pump would fit into the aftermarket washer bottle?? I don't like my chances of finding a decent nic washer bottle 2nd hand, but I could probably find a pump a bit easier?

Super Cheap actually used to sell a motor as a GMH replacement, had the windscreen washer as per original, for about $12

Don't know if they still do, this was a couple of years ago when I did this research

It is a while since I set mine up Brad, but I think I had to very slightly enlarge the hole in the new bottle, and then used the coarse screw on the original pump to sort of cut a thread into the bigger hole. Once that was done, the old nylon nut from inside and washer was screwed down, and the rest is history.
There must be squillions of Holden washer pumps around, just find one that works, give it a Dulux overhaul and you are set.
Thats all I did. If it ai'nt broke - do'nt fix it. ( which I must do on the power plug to the washer pump, it keeps falling apart - hence the blue cable tie around it)

To easy mate. My car was supplied to me without a bottle at all... And as such, Ive never physically seen one. Once I get my hands on one Im sure Ill figure things out!!!

Judging from Pics Ive looked at and they way my wiring harness sits, it appears that the pump has a short wiring loom coming from it with the plug on the end? Is this short loom fixed internally into the motor or is there external terminals with another plug?

The 2 wires for the pump come from the loom, and there is only the black plug in this pic to join them. The wires are held by that little 2 pronged plastic clip thingo on each side of the motor.

FFFFaaaar out - that is top dollar !
If you could'nt find one for a fraction of that from a wreck somewhere I would be astounded. But - that is the beastie, complete with the strainer thing on the inside bit.

Do'nt know except one says "push in ca"
I must say I did'nt know there was a choice. Just rang my local Rares bloke, and he says that the one with the push in ca added is the motor pushes in through a grommet, whereas the other one (that I have) it has the motor held in by a screw on nut inside the bottle.
visually theytlook the same - just the motor fitting.

Is this what you looking for Brad.

This is the original plug for the washer bottle, don't know why it has the red and black extension, thats the way i got it.

Nice one on the pics there Mort!

Yeah it seems there is a short loom that runs from the motor to the main harness from all the pics Ive seen. Makes sense, as the wiring in the main loom is only short.
