Where is a good spot?
i pulled out the drivers air vent, but i would need to chop it up a tad to get it right in there.
so before i chop is there another good spot?
would it be legal to have no drivers air vent
Cheers,
Nathan

I just agree with everyone else but had to say something different, otherwise this would be a useless post. Big mother hose clamp and conduit means its neat and tidy and yeah, right infront of the factory tacho which you won't be using anymore. Its right in you're line of view and below the crash pad so completly legal.
Peace,

i think the steering colum way would suit my interior the best
just a bit lower so it doesnt cover my dash. i have no choke so it will be sweet.
im sure there will be a pluming store near here
cheers!

Most of the young fellas set em at something stupid like 4,000 or 4,500 RPM so they don't kill the fully sick engine.....wastage. If your gonna hook in, don't do it in halves.

I agree there yella, but I think if my car had one, i'd throw it on ebay first, just to get the money, the bin was my first thought though, however, personal choice lolThey look quite at home in the rubbish bin.

For the ocassionaly bit of strip action they do come in handy when trying to squeeze a little extra by altering your shift revs.
Or in my case in the hatch it was my only way of knowing what speed I was on and the shift light worked as a speed detector when in cruise.
On the colum is easy but custom dash mounted where the origonal tacho is best.

despite some people saying they are all wank factor mines there for a purpose, i set the shift light for 500 rpm earlier than when i want to shift at the drags so i dont go over 7 grand

i only really use the shift lite.
aint the best idea to take ur eyes off the road to chek the tacho out
but its still needed to be able to see how the car is reving. my torrie is a street car and will get the revs it was built for. i definatly need tacho, there great!
close to perfect shifts are important
cheers

Cheers
