Took my car for a new windscreen today, its an lh torana, 308 and BW78 LSD.

I know thw diff is on its way out as it has a terrible whine. But when coasting today i was getting a terrible high frequency vibration. Under acceleration it did not seem to bad on deceleration it was terrible even with the clutch depressed it still vibrated until the car was doing about 5kph then it would stop. I am hoping its not the gearbox however it feels like it. Is there any chance its a transfer of vibration fromm the diff up the driveline. I know nothing about aussie 4 speeds and have been smart enough to stay away from them until now.

So basicaly i get vibrations on decelartion clutch in or clutch out and gets worse as speed slows down and then stops once the car is less than 5kph. Also there under light acceleration. Just trying to get a roady and didnt need any more issues so i am hoping its the diff as i am going to change the centre anyway.

Thanks for any advise

Found the culprit i think? Bloody exhaust rubbing on the tread of the tyre. Will take it for a run tomorrow. Hope its the issue.

But the diff is certainly stuffed.
