hey all
Justs curious if you know is the m20/21 same length as the turbo 350, reason i ask as im getting the nine inch built in the car in next couple weeks and i was thinking i might get the tail shaft made at same time! BUT the engine swap hasn't been done yet so its still the m21 not the turbo 350
Also from what i can find the output shaft is the same spline. This true?
Thanks Ed

Splines are the same and GMH used the same shaft in 253/trimatic and 253/308manual as 308/TH350 in late HZ and WB so you should be OK. Double and triple check first though! I'd also recommend getting a 1-tonner yoke for the front - they use a 1.25" uni, same uni used on HG-HG 350 powered vehicles with Saginaw and Muncie and also all HQ-HZ with TH400. Just need the uni cups off the front of an old TH400 or either end of a 1-tonner tailshaft for the new tailshaft.
