I have heard about this torsional test before from Grant and I couldnt believe what was involved to actually have it done.
Have you got a timeframe of when you would like to have this thing finished, cant wait to see it?

Looking good Macka. It's great you have Tim helping out with the project.
It sounds like it will be a fantastic, when done. I'm keeping an eye on your project.
Warren.
Yes working with Tim is a pleasure , thanks Warren.
I love the colour that you have chosen Damo, I think that colour would look good on any car. Yes test is $1600. I hadnt budgeted for it but its just one of those things that has to be done. In regard to timeframe, not exactly. Budget will dictate it predominately. Once body is 80% complete and Tim has front and rear ends sorted it will slow down again for a while. To be honest i think 2015 xmas would be a maybe but more like 2016 sometime.

I love the way this car is heading.
Really amazing work by Dirtbag too. I really like the lines at the door handles and the filler in the boot is a great idea. Will the underside of the boot need to be altered to match the new profile?

Cheers Statler I'm glad you are liking it. No worries for the headlight mate what goes around comes around I reckon.

Dom the door handles and filler in boot are both Tim's ideas. I am not sure if the underside of the boot has to be altered. I think from memory it doesn't. Not sure if Tim is on forum but if he is I am sure he will chime in.

I'm not sure I can wait 18 months Damo.

Daz I can't either, that's why at some stage I am going to make the trip up. However I won't do that until body is all finished with modifications, motor is fitted up and the front and rear suspension is finished and wheels are on. So pretty much just before it gets pulled apart again for panel final finish and paint. That might be off a bit though!!!

Not exactly sure at this time Ryan. However have spoken to Tim about an intake like the one he did for his brother on the UC Torana.

Love this thing. If your GTR is anything to go by and with Tim's quality of work, this car will be amazing.
Love the paint colour chosen and if my opinion means anything (I'm sure it doesn't, haha) Red interior with silver paint might be the best combination ever. This would look perfect with that combo.

Ryan give me some photos of that thing finished please.
It hasn't progressed since that photo, my torana has jumped the queue.
Will be for sale once finished if you know anyone though.

Mic I am still up in the air on color of interior. I am starting to lean towards a deep red/maroon however last week I was convinced it would be tan!!!! I am going to Melbourne Muscle Car Expo late May so hopefully I see something that will convince me which way to go.
Cheers Macka

Love this build.
Must have been a huge decision to take a leap and undertake a complex build like this from interstate.
Glad someone has the balls to do it! Going to be a stunning car once complete.
