Bit of an update but not on the hatch. The whiskey lounge is nearly done, just a couple of small jobs to finish off, then clean up the shed and sell some spare parts then I'll be back into the hatch.

Chesterfield lounge, whisky rack, bookcase - looks like a Gentlemans Club.

All you need now are a couple of old blokes smoking pipes, and or some young ladies ,scantily clad serving drinks........oops...it's 2022, not 1980....better stick to the old bloke with pipes.  lol

p.s. looks great!

I see the table (albeit a little on the small side), and I see the spotlights, but I don't see the stripper pole? :clappin:

That bought back memories Bruce.  I've been to a private function at he Captains home and it is as eclectic as you can get.  Cheers Ron

Looks like that bloke knows how to have a good time, would like to meet him,
I bet he’s a real hoot
Just install your very own Jansen in your cave, and wheel him out for those
whisky nights. Hours of fun

Nice job on the room Glen, looks like a great place for hanging out.

The room looks amazing Glen. After your recommendation of the Angels Envy, (which I found really nice) I thought I would reciprocate the favour and put you onto a Perth distillery who make a really smooth woody bourbon.

Update time. Quit my job three years ago that i was at for 14 years after getting sick of watch stupid management decisions and having to deal with a continuous stream of HR managers that hate people. I was lucky enough to get a job at Southern Rod and Custom in the assembly area. So i've been putting other people's car together and thought it's time to get back into mine.

Some photos of work.

Some may have noticed that I am doing a modified LH SLR stripe down the side.

Is that Stuart Appleby's M5 ute at your work? One of my favourites of all time that one.

I have seen a couple of hatches with the LH paint job, and I reckon it looks great.

Yes that is Stuart's ute, the boss built it I think about 20 years ago when the workshop was in Deniliquin.
