So at some stage the torana has to fit in the garage because im not having it sitting out in the weather once its all nice and shiny.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image
hard to believe but anyways.
I didn't get any photos of the back wall before i started moving everything but anything that is on the bench to the right was on the back wall plus the big blue thing, wardrobe and a gun safe (old school locker)

Posted Image
So here is the begining finaly made my way to the wall, had to cut a few bolts off were the gun safe was attached to the wall and we were on our way.

Posted Image
Zee shelves

Posted Image
Some how there is an engine under all this crap.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Shelves half way up need to move some more crap to get ready for the other half.

Posted Image
Old can (think its was dads dads from the war) 4th sep 1945

Posted Image
Wardrobe was a pain in the freckle to move on my own but the locker (aka gunsave) was easy.

Posted Image
Had to move more things for the 2nd lot of shelves, why not use the ones ive already made?

Posted Image
Mmmm Wonder what im going to find in the load of rubbish.

Posted Image
;o

Posted Image
Chair anyone? Looks a bit worse for wair, shame it was tucked away in the corner i would of loved some of this old junk on display somewhere dispite being 19 i love all the old stuff.

Posted Image

Posted Image
Couple of cans, this one was in the best condition of the lot.

Posted Image
I wouldn't have a frOcking clue what this is, but it is brass.

Posted Image

Posted Image
Very nice old box, shame it was also tucked away hidden in the corner.
Assuming it is from the war to, couldn't find any dates on the box buttttttt

Newspaper stashed in the bottom of it

Posted Image
Posted Image
Tv guide from 1963 anyone?

Posted Image
mmm clean at last

Posted Image
Don't really know why you need this many saws, there is more on the other wall couple of big 2 man old ones aswell.

Posted Image
Fark i have to move this aswell now for the shelves to fit

Posted Image
Clean wall, now for the other crap.

Posted Image

Posted Image
Like magic

Posted Image
All gone, it was about twice as heavy as the wardrobe, ended up just letting it fall on the ground and dragging it out.

Posted Image

Posted Image
Now to re arrange this stuff a big better.

Posted Image

Posted Image
No idea why he has 2 circular saws when he works for the ambulance service now but he won't chuck anything out sooo ON THE NEW SHELF THEY GO

Posted Image
Need to fill this space with a few shelves, and under it were all the oil cans and things were, might cut the work bench back and put the wardrobe their?
Have to see what dad wants to do.

Posted Image
Annnnd it looks pretty much the same as when i started ffs.

More tomorrow depending on the weather and if i can move things outside and rearrange it all

Gotta do the same with mine soon, hoping the car isn't too far away from coming home and i need to fit it in the shed as well.

Not a job i'm looking forward to but it's gotta be done, especially in this heat.

Those old oil cans are worth a bit of $$ now days. So dont throw them out.

Same with the old war time stuff.

The brass/copper spray gun looking thing is a smoker by the looks of it (for beekeeping)

I don't think anyone in the family has had anything to do with bee's though. Ill ask dad.

Yea i don't plan on throwing the oil cans and old war stuff out.
If i ever get my own house ill steal them and put them on display. Im gonna try and put them in a dryer spot to.

Ill go get a few more pics, see if i can find some writing or something on it.

Its a blow torch. Plumbers used to use them in the old days, a soldering iron sits on the brackets that are on top off the burner (barrel bit)
. Also used for many other things. Got a few myself & use them ocassionally

Hamo, looks like you've just taken all the junk out, looked at it, moved it around and re-stacked the shed.
The only way the Torrie will fit is if you sell it, ditch it or put it in another shed.
Good luck
Marty

There isn't any room for a shed, we live on a steep sloped block.

Plus im sure you have kept a lot of junk over the years aswell that you wouldn't want to sell.

Block not suitable for a shed? Block not suitable for male inhabitants. Cut your losses now and get a different house.

Those blow torchs r pretty cool.
I got one off my grandad.
U put kerro in it then put metho in the concave bit at the top.
Lite the metho up to vaperise the kerro then open the tap and the gas comes out and lites up
on the metho and there u go an old school blow torch.

If u dont let the kerro vaperise enogh before opening it up
it will shoot out a liquad flame up to 2 mtrs long. Thats pretty cool too.

Tempted to give it a go now lol.

If i start digging now i could have a suitable place for a shed in a couple of years.
