I have bought one if these Rust Stop units to fit on my hatch. I have heard many different opinions on how well these work, however i just figured it cant hurt to have one fitted. It cost me about $200.
A guy i know with a similar product fitted to a HG Holden sedan and swears it is the only reason his car hasnt rusted while sitting out in the open for 5 years.
The electronic rust prevention systems apparently work better in areas of higher humidity as the sarificial anode require moisture to be effective.
There is a few comments on these products in the electrical section of this forum somewhere.

Yeah i have heard of them but not sure how effective they are... i suppose if you have a car you really dont want to rust then u try everything to stop it from rusting!

Lets see if anyone who has one fitted has had their pride and joy rust..
