my mate used to run an lc 2 door at speedway, but he said the radiator ended up at the firewall :(

My old man trashed 3 genuine GTRs and an Xu-1 (ran street stockers) as well as a few 2 and four doors.

my unle used to race super sedans years agoi,(tony grinstead) a purple 4dr torana,then a commodore,pontiac,commodore always no 18,no 1 on a few times too

You forgot the Iroc Z Camaro, second Aussie title won at Bendigo in that one.
Looks like Liverpool Speedway.
Most likely Liverpool as there weren't too many payment oval tracks.

the torana's in the picture are #41 Greg Bates and #91 Walter Giles they are both hand fabricated chassis running fibreglass bodies and the track is liverpool speedway when it was tar it was one of many tracks that were tared for a number of years

There used to be a Bloke called Geno Revere (Broken Hill)I think that come to Timmis speedway here in Mildura many years ago,he had a red 2 door LJ with a turboed 202 with a quick change diff under the back of it,i can still see that bloody thing blowing all the V8s to the weeds
