Hi,
Have just registered with your great site. Have been watching as a guest for the last 6 months & have got some really great information. Just wondering whether you guys could help answer a question. Have just bought an LX Hatch & went to replace the bushes on the rear lower trailing arms at the diff end. Have found that these bushes are smaller in outside diameter than the body end bushes. We are having trouble finding replacement bushes. Can anyone shed any light on this - could they be sunbird? Also are HQ - HZ trailing arms the same?
Cheers Loui

HQ -HZ arms aren't the same, and Sunbird bushes are the same shape as any other torana bush. Maybe a pic would help?

We don't have any pics that we can post. All we know is that the outside diameter of the larger bush is 48.5 & the smaller one is 43.5.

pedders have 2 types of compounds in the bush rubbers , ordinary and hard.
go for the harder rubber type , worth every penny extra for a firmer ride.
stay away from the red ones though ....
