Hi ALX, nice pics!

Looks like Pete managed to keep himself out of trouble, (apparently there was a fair bit of carnage in the other categories!) she's almost too clean to be a racecar! :D .

A junior license is available for karting which covers 12-15 years, circuit racing licenses start at 16yrs.

Hope this helps,

cheers,

Sam

Thanx 350LH, the licence thing was intended as a joke as my son was in the drivers seat in the last shot, he's only 3 and cant see over the dash, but i was asked to remove it by his mum as she had concerns with rockies all over the world taking a copy for their collection.
thanx again.

So Les didn't get the A9X or the RX7 out?
Have you had a chance to catch up with him yet Peter?

Next time you get a chance to run into Darren Stewart, let him know we exist so he can come and drum up some support also. :)

Greg, is the Walky not up to speed yet? When is the new engine ready?

Grant..

Hey Grant...
Had a minor set back with the walky...
The thing has developed an appetite for gearboxes. :furious:
So while the new box is being built (from scratch) I am upgrading a few other areas that need attention.
Car may appear in around 6 weeks hopefully...
Bit frustrated by it all, but hey.. that's racin'!
At least the XU-1 is prepped ready to go, so if it gats too bad i just might enter it in an overs race ad see how we go? Darren Stewart did pretty well in his XU-1 against the rotors, so who know's?
Peter... came over to say g'day on Saturday, but couldn't find you...?? Had a bit of a look at the Torry... Very neat! Then wandered off to have a look around...
Hey those Queenslander's came prepared for anything.. didn't they!
What was doing with the sports sedan race on Sunday... was there a big one?

Cheers Greg..

The Sports sedan problem was a VL lost one of its wheels after the dogleg.

No ... Les Taylor hasnt been out at all this year.

I did ok for the weekend, car was good... I did my usual trick of passing a few off the line, usually 3 to 5 each time....... even got hit from behind going into turn 2 in race 3... an RX7 lifted up the back of my car as I was braking into the turn 2.. I then slid off his bonnet and had a half slide and got the hell outa there... I only had a very minor scratch on the bumper...easily fixed with touch up paint... no problems. RX7 had a long scrap across his bonnet.

I Qual with a 1.25.2 and did that time again in race 1, in Race 2 I did 3 laps in the 24's and got down to a 1.24.2 and in the 3rd race I just basically went for a finish.. times in the 25/26's etc... I ended up 3rd in class for the weekend which is all I am chasing this year (class points) and am currently 2nd in class for the year.

If felt good to pass one Rx7 down the straight... :spoton: which passed me on the grass over the Dogleg

Next round is OP again 29/30 Jul
