I'm planning to go to Ferry Rd Diner at Southport this friday 7-12-12 (weather permitting) & was just wondering if anyone else is interested in coming.
I've asked a few mates from out Ipswich way & have come up with some meeting points.
1st meeting place at Redbank - 5.30 for a 5.45 depart - exit 31 off the Ipswich Motorway (Redbank, Collingwood Park), straight on at lights (Francis St) & wait in a safe spot near Charlton's Bait & Tackle.
2nd meeting place at Yatala - 6.15 for a 6.30 depart - exit 38 off the M1 (Stapylton-Jacobs Well Rd), first left at roundabout (Henry Hester Drive), turn right into BP servo
Anyone with a classic car is welcome to join in as long as they don't draw any unwelcome Police attention.
I plan to head for home around 9pm but decide for yourselves as to when you leave

I think there was 8 of us that went down & we outnumbered the other cars that were there.
Christmas partys? Overcast weather? I don't know why people stayed away, but they did
