Hi people, I am hopeing some one knowledgeable on here can me. I have a ford f350 tow truck with power steering on it, not the Datsun 260C type.
What I do know is it has a Saginaw power steering pump which is the standard XF Falcon type, 2 HK Holden steering rams, a standard f100 manual steering box with a adapter and a rotary control valve of some type that I am trying to identify so I can get parts and repair it.
Happy new year, Aaron.

The old Falcons had a similar setup to the old Holdens
So maybe its actually Falcon rams and rotary valve
Motospecs will have catalogues with some info but sadly no pics
You really need a p/steer specialist thats been in the game awhile for this one I think

Thanks for your help Dattoman, they are definitely HK steering rams. First thing tomorrow I will get onto some old power steering specialist.
I have tried Super F spares and they wished me luck and Prestige power steering could not help either, I spoke tow a few 70ish year old mechanics and numerous younger mechanics mates of mine aswell as a few people who must have owned at least 40 F trucks between them.
I have also wasted at least 10 hours on the web looking at images and sites, so I may be screwed, cheers Aaron.

Try some of the older towing mobs? Melbourne towing etc? You might find an ol' fart still there that knows something?
