hey guys, thought id start a fresh page and hopefuly get some input an advice

Im 23 from western suburbs in melb, bought this "rust free" car with plans to paint the drivers gaurd and bonnet and whack an engine in it.... well it wasnt rust free, was chipping off slabs of bog!!! it was a mess! and as all things do they blow out of control....... turned into a full resto every nut and bolt... nothing sub standard to go into this car

plans are 355 solid cammed holden v8 with nitrous, turbo350 trans manualised, and i am currently getting a 9 inch built to suit the news wheels i have purchased, weld prostars with 3.5 back space, diff is getting done at street and strip performance in pakenham

massive thank you to the painter who has taken this car to a new level, and to blackwell body work who has helped me with the body here are some progress pics guys enjoy!!

Havent seen it on a lambo, but i did see it on a new XR5 Turbo and its a fairly nice shade of orange actually. Car is coming along very nicely mate are you painting it yourself?

Thanks guys! There is a similar lambo colour I looked at, pearl over colour..... Really happy do far, and no unfortunately I'm not painting it myself. I have someone looking after it all for me, really bringing it to a new level, so far spending almost 200 hrs on the car to bring it to where it is now, just paint wise, he works as a rep for ppg now after being a painter for 20yrs and does this as part of his passion for cars

Yeah, ford really got the colour lineup for the XR5 turbos right.

The orange, green and blue are all excellent colours.

Interiors are nicely done too
