seeif you can get all the numbers off it. It looks ok in the pics, shame about the trim, but if you are quick you could get new trim made for it. those wheels would have to go hahaha the paint scheme looks ok, but there is something odd with the front decal

I'd definately give it a thorough inspection.

I love the satin bonnet! Ryan, what aspect of the blackouts would you say look weird? The actual warpaint looks weird but I don't know why... it appears to be in the right position and so on, maybe it just looks weird coz the car's jacked up on little wheels. But you may just be talking about the Satin finish of the paint.

Everyone goes gloss these days, but the original looks so much better :spoton:

Yup, an SS one piece type front spoiler standard. Fairly replacable though, most peeps just go with the L34/A9X type front spoiler.

Tag seems to check out alright, although a few numbers hard to read, although they are of little consequence.

i see what you mean about the blackouts - seems to me that the letters seem up a little high, maybe resprayed? The decal seems closer to the headlight compared to others i have seen

hopefully he will put the pics of the tags on soon.

cheers

the side paint looks ok, the stencils should be on the door not the sill the nose decal is black in the centre, not body colour, it's location is ok engine bay looks fairly original too. It's had paint for sure, look at the black in the engine bay along the tops of the guards, it's not in far enough and the compliace plate is painted. I'd give it a closer look if you are after one

The decal on the nosecone is some repro thing, pretty innaccurate but they are small things to replace.

Heath, i assume that by Ryan you mean RIM. Or Tim. But yeah, it might just be the flat black instead of gloss. and the lack of front spoiler makes it look different aswell.

reda9x, i checked out the black in the engine bay as noted by you, glad you pointed that out as i didn't notice it at first
i don't want to waste my time flying down to inspect it if it is not worth it.
and yes the wheels definitely have to go

cheers

I just spoke to the owner, he told me that when he got the car it had GT stripes on the bonnet which he removed and resprayed himself in black. Blackouts on the sidepanels were resprayed by previous owner.
The car had a fibreglass front spoiler which he took off, said it looked bodgey.
He said the consol does not look original,
think i might leave this alone, it might be a headache that haunts me

cheers
