Looks nice, it looks almost the same as the 1 for $15k, but the $20k 1 looks to be more "restored" let us know how you go, and pics if you get it! Where in brissy are you?

i'm not in brissy - the car is, hopefully getting slideshow of car today, will post pics when i get them.
i'm on nsw central coast.
did anyone see this hatch on ebay, owner wants 27k - that would be alright if it was an ss but this is not, looks very similar to one i saw not too long ago on internet for sale also was ebay but without rego

The Shell is
original SLR but nothing else in the car is and therefore I find it
impluasible to advertise it as an original SLR 5000. Further I have
documented evidence that the shell is SLR 5000 but the vehicle now has a
surrogate VIN due to modifications completed in Queensland. I do have
the original plates\tags.
The price that I have put on the vehicle is indicative of the
considerable works completed and my unsure willingness to sell - and to
scare off idiots. There is no way that I could advertise that this is an
original SLR 5000. The shell was bought burnt out and bent in 88 with no
panels running gear or other. Due to it being an original shell I went
forth and rebuilt it. For example Doors, quarter panels, nose cone etc
from where I could find them. Complete rewire of the electrical system
using circuit breakers etc. The motor is turbo pattern v8 from the
statesman and the gearbox is turbo 400. The cross member and tailshaft
are custom and the the Diff has a nine inch centre built into Banjo
outers with custom billet axles. Every item of the car was found rebuilt
or built modified.

THE one thats all black across the back is a bitsa thats for sure, and i'd doubt it's an original 5000 as advertised with the chrome round the windows. 5000's din't have that, and it's got the wrong dash too
