I have noticed a few L34 and A9X cars with an additional set of bumper bolts. Must be more the coincidence. Perhaps the bars were originaly made for driving light fittment. Any more info?

Mmm, hadn't noticed to tell you the truth! I know there is normally one on the side and one on the front top and bottom??? I think. Gonna have to keep an eye out now.

You buy a car that has big ugly driving lights sticking out of the bumper. You remove them and are left with unsightly holes in your bumper. What is the most discreet way of removing them?
A short trip to the wreckers/a short night of Random-Torana-bumper-removing later, you have a clean looking bumper with no holes in it, but some extra chromed domes that no-one pays attention to.

I don't think they were there from the beginning but if they were they should have a square hole underneath the bolthead like the rest of the bumper bolts. That's the only thing I can think of!

Ruby has them (stockish LX SL), but they r closer to the headlights with no room for installation of driving lights.

Thanx Kaz. Most of the pics i have are form stock looking cars. I originally figured driving lights because they were promoted as an option in the early LH advertising. I thought the A9X and L34 connection was that on some of the cars they wanted to use up some of the parts sitting around so to speak.
