My LX seems to lean to the right a little. I have checked all the springs and they are the same length so im thinking they may have sagged or lost strength.

Therefor I am looking at replacing them with some lowered springs. The car doesn't sit high but they are the springs that were in it when purchased.

What springs could i purchase to give it a nice look yet still practical?

If you can find a spring manufacture, you can measure from the top of the wheel arch opening to the centre of the wheel and they will supply the correct springs you need.

Or you could try asking the same details from a supplier.

I have a question, in the 80's the trend was to have your car lowered and these days it's to maintain factory look.

What are peoples on which way to go?

I have K-mac's lowered springs, they're a bit thicker than usual and thus don't sit into the control arm as nicely as an original would.

They are quite old so probably have sagged.

Personally I think a nice happy medium is the way to go. Slammed just doesn't ride well and for me at least factory height looks like it belongs on the sand dunes. So drop it down an inch or so and it will ride well and look good to boot :)
