My utes been all painted & back together so if I'm available ill be there. But again I'll be coming from frankston area so it'l take me about an hr to get over the west gate then another 40mins to get to Geelong.

The only reason that theres not much interest is because the meeting point is to early in the morning.

What date did everyone decide? engine and front end should be in by the end of the week then it's a matter of connecting all the wires etc and praying that it runs, nothing leaks and it doesnt explode.

I was thinking meet at 10am at the Caltex servo on the Princes at Werribee. Fuel up and have a quick chat then maybe leave at around 10.20am to head on down Geelong and possibly meet more down there..From there we can mowsy on down the great ocean road leaving Geelong at 11.30 which should put us in somewhere for lunch around 12.30-1pm. As far as lunch goes though I have no idea where we can go.

Freestones diner still looks a goer as well in Airey's inlet. May have to make a group booking but they are open Sunday's from 11am til late.

Only joking.
Time and venue is open to discussion. Personally if it means more cars, we leave a tad later. Last time there was discussion on a cruise the meeting time was around 7:00am if I'm not wrong. This time I threw in a later starting time. Just keep in mind it is a Sunday and it would be nice to e home at a reasonable hour.
That said, what are the thoughts????

Personally I dont wanna go to the car show been to plenty lately. I am happy with a late start time if it means more cars will come but meeting any earlier than 9am at the Caltex is a no goer for me, I need my beauty sleep.

How are you going Jacob, do you think your going to be finished in time or is it touch and go?

I will pm the guys who were interested in going on the earlier one, see if we can drum up some more interest.

Touch and go at this stage. Worse comes to worst i can register the car on the friday and i've still got a month to get a roady. But that's providing it all runs nicely. Basically just got to bolt on the accessories and hope it all runs.

Do we know who is 100%?

That's great news Matt, hope it all goes well. I am 100% at this stage unless something unexpected comes up. I guess we can wait until this Sunday for everyone to verify whether their coming and get some numbers together so we can book lunch if need be.

Ok let's do Sunday 17th and late start. So 10am at Werribee Caltex. I can then meet everyone in Geelong at say Waurn Ponds McDonalds/Apco servo. Have a quick chat for 30 minutes or so and then we cruise down to Aireys Inlet Freestone Diner for lunch. I will need to book us in so will need definite numbers. Will book for 1pm lunch. Then it is up to everyone what they do. They could keep cruising around to Lorne (20 mimutes) or head back whenever you are ready.

That's the plan. Who's in?

Ahhhh, see direction, I like it.
I'm in. 10:00 Caltex and race oops I mean drive to Geelong to meet up.just need an address for the Mc D's. At least which road it's on. I'm not that familiar with Geelong.
Daz I will sus out the wife, but I don't think she will come, can't fit the capsule in the car and use the front passenger seat. Therefore, if you want to leave a car at the servo your more than welcome to jump in!
