I will be doing something to make life easy with cleaning up a TORANA and how did you do yours. Dave I

p.s. being able to Fabricate your own Jigs is an Advantage

seems like a rather over engineered setup dave, and the obstruction from the mounting points. i reckon the style that has the bumper mounts are good, and easy to make

Kinda makes sense but I think if I had a body so rusty you couldn't swing it on a normal rotisserie then I'd be doing a bit of work to it before considering that also. Stability from the four corner legs would be good in some ways but as Stinga says I wouldn't sacrifice the access for it.

A bare Torana shell weighs bugger all

Thank-you Stinga and 76lxhatch,

Great Bumper Bar Unit there. Dave I

p.s. edit - connect the Hula Hoops to the bumper bar area if you were to make them

p.p.s. nice shot of an empty shell

Hi Dave
Found this one on the forum. Measurements for Lx/lh rotisarary. I don't know how to link it.
Like how he's made use of a old starter gear and clutch plate.

Here some pictures of a marchine at my work.
It work in the same way as you first post. I'll go ask my boss if we can modify it a bit we'll be able to get 3 cars on the back and 3 more on the front.

Great Job Pat,

An effortless and balanced rotation jig, well done, and

another thing, compared to the hoops, is that where you stop,

the body can be worked on without movement, cool.  B)

I can tell you, made working on it easy as + it allowed me to paint the underbody as a bonus.

The unit has now been deployed to help somebody else do their car.

Another Excellent Job Al,

Can see the wheels made the Unit a bit higher,

but helps cleaning the area up easier, from able to move around.

Position locking, and been able to shift the Torana outside made easy too.
