For $500, Id take the money and run - move it whilst it is still in 1 piece.

A shell is usually just that, no hanging panels and not rolling.

To a hot rodder an LC- J complete front end is worth $500. They are getting hard to find these days.

And if you are planning to get another one you'd be mad not to keep a lot of parts for spares if you have somewhere to store them IMO.

I'm getting and keeping what I need for the new car, bonnet, glass, trims, rubbers, headlight and taillight surrounds, headlights, taillights, dash pad, dash, quite a bit so all good there.

When I said in 1 piece, I mean before the body sanps in 2 from the rust, not that you shouldn't take what parts you want first :-)

I've pretty much sorted out a new one, i have a choice between two pretty darn good options so this sunday i should have a much nicer base to start with that have had most of the bodywork done.

If you want to do it, do it. It's fixable. Time and money are the only things between you and finishing it.
