Gday, i know that Celica/Supra 5 speeds are a pretty commonly seen behind Sixes in Toranas. But what is the difference, if there is any at all?
Also, my cousin is putting a 5 speed out of a Corona into his UC. I'm supposing it's the same as the Celica. and what is involved in installing it?

Corona 5 speed? Was there a 5 speed that came behind the starfire (holden engine) in a Corona? Or was there a Jap box too? Rim,I am not sure if you know but in the late 70's - early 80's the Toyota Corona had a Holden Starfire engine. So the box from that Corona would bolt behind a Holden 6 to. I'm tipping it is a Borg Warner rather than a Celica box.

Sounds good, LX SS.
The only reason that we are doing this swap is that we have a 5 speed Wrecked 5 Speed Corona and a UC with a very tired trimatic...
