I sprayed a chassis with enamel with one a number of years ago and it worked fine.

sorry to be so disappointing to all the so called experts .
Why oh why did i buy that $600 spray gun.....Looks like i've wasted the last 8 years of my life painting for a living, and that 4 year apprenticeship to become trade qualified was obviously a big waste of time, shoulda just brought one of those hand held airless things and started a shop, i would be a millionaire by now!!!
Cheers.

It's not our fault you haven't yet discovered the versatility, convenience and sheer bloody joy associated with having your own Little Beaver to fool around with.

My first few resprays were with a $50 gun and a $100 second hand petrol compressor, ironically, after investing in a $900 compressor and a $600 spray gun etc etc I have never been able to better that first combo for ease of use and finish every time.
