G'day All

Bugga me this years Fest is coming up quick and I can't wait to be heading north :driving: for that warmer weather and even warmer welcome at the Fest motel :party:

The Saturday Cruise is shaping up to be bigger than last year and I don't mean to put a damper on the cruise and I do know that we always try to obey the road rules, however there is some thing I did observe on last years cruise before we even got onto the main road :dontknow:

Did everyone notice the STOP sign at the exit from the Fest Motel :dontknow:

Did everyone also notice the Highway Patrol Police car 'bout 100 metres on our right, up the road with its lights on directing traffic (for our benefit) to change to the right lane so that we could exit the Fest Motel with safety :dontknow:

Did everyone STOP at that STOP sign before turning left for the cruise :dontknow:

If you did STOP :spoton:

If you didn't , YOU were noticed :angry:

Funny you say this Barry because this was talked about at our club meeting this week.

Last year the police did say that no one stopped at that stop sign and said that this year there will be NO leniency.

I think there will be a reminder on the day of the cruise.

Thanks Barry for the reminder. The friendly policewoman that helped out last year did mention this to the motel, who then passed this on to us.

We don't want anyone to have a sad start to the Toranafest weekend.

As Dane said we are going to remind all just before the cruise.

Maybe we can get a skantly clad forum member to uses a stop/go lollipop!!! Are you going to Volunteer Barry.. I will lend you my Borat swimmers!!!!!

Maybe we can utilise the brief stop for a great photo opportunity!!!

Whos good with a camera!!

And whos up to see Barry in Borat Swimmers!!!

I will have my camera there but unfortunately due to a hold up with my build, my car wont make it this year as planned so I am willing to take pics there if needed. Would be great to be able to have someone hang back and pick me up so I can make the cruise as well.............

I was prepared to take you up there this year but you thought you were going to have your car ready , so my nephew is coming up with me now , if you can fit in the back i dont mind , unless someone has a front seat for you ?

Not sure how the awning over all the memorabilia will go down with the local coppers.

The mankini may also be over legal track width on the rear.

If Barry was there in a Mankini the traffic would stop in all directions. Don't worry about the wide load sign on your arse I would be putting no entry one way.
