The UC rear lap sash belt is 196cm from bolt hole to bolt hole in extended form.
Im guessing LH/Lx would be the same.
I would be greatful if someone on the forum who has a Kingswood/statesman/monaro could measure the length of the rear belt to see if it is any longer.......I think we all aware of the prob of getting aftermarket belts to fit the torrie because of the larger bolt holes.
Thanks.

I rang a couple of seatbelt/restraint installers and yes they exist.......but not to fit a 78 torrie.
I suppose we could buy some generic ones, one can slide the smaller 7/16 in bolts through the 1/2 inch holes on the rear of the torrie and put a nut on the other side, unlike the front where you cant do that on the side mounts.
Possibly the statesmans had rear inertia style ones that would be longer?

Keep in mind that LHs had the seatbelts bolted into the C pillars, but I can't visualise it and tell you whether that would be any longer or shorter than the parcel-shelf-mounted belts. Probably identical, but could be food for thought.

I was hopeing that someone with one of these larger cars could measure their belts........wreckers are never interested/helpful when you are trying to find an alternative part .....ie all you get is "tell us what car is it for pal"how about something like a HQ wagon belt?
