Here it is, as you can see has been welded.
Along base where it leaked, in middle where I had ground out a hollow
so it would fit, as it is about 1/4 inch thick it hit up against turbo.
Had it welded so I could polish back and sell.
Found the inlet manifold for Turbo set up, rest is here some where,
was a Kinetics kit with Rayjay turbo'
Blew out turbo seal when racing hot oil every where, bit of a fire.
excited the spectators. Stopped racing and went back to skis.

Got any of the tow car or the boat/boat engine itself? I've never actually seen a Holden six in a boat, but I've been told about people doing them all the time in the 70s and 80s.

I was with Adelaide Speedboat club at Nth Arm Gilman,
sixes were mostly used in hydroplanes,
I was building run abouts, didin't have money for V8 so went for six
with turbo. Kinetics kit Rayjay turbo, 45 webber no wastegate bout 16 lbs
boost. Screamed it's tits off.
Worst part about fire was rescue boat, had to get fire out before they
got to me or they would have sprayed that white powder everywhere,
nightmare to get rid of, took my helmet off filled with water and put out fire.
