pretty surprised no one has started a bathurst thread.

Personally, while i've not followed the supertaxis for the last few years, i'm always in front of the box for The Great Race.

Perhaps people are upset about the inclusion of the 2 'newcomers', bring it on i say. Extra happy to see Mercedes and Nissan back, both previous visitirs to the mount.

Great shootout race yesterday and friday for the classics and now i'm ready for the 6 hour support race :)

anyway, best of luck to the competitors, bring on the start.

Every year i find myself watching the first 10 laps, and the last 30 when they actually start racing. Dont watch any other event but really seem to enjoy bathurst as in the final laps, its really obvious the drivers want it. Last years was on the edge of your seat stuff between 1 and 2. Hope its the same this year

Haven't been into it for years, like others I watched the start and the finish ( when I'm not at work ) of the race, last year I watch the whole race being the last of the Ford/Holden battle and I will watch most of the race today being the first of the multi-team racing.

Why do they seem to think the entrance to the pits is more interesting than the dipper?

Did it 2009 with my bro-in-laws and had a ball even with the rain and sub-zero temps.

Would love to do it with the family next time.
