I have aquired a gearbox from a mate and was wondering if anybody could id it for me. I remember reading a thread some time ago and it said that you could tell what type of box it was from the input shaft.

Do the numbers cast into the side of the inspection plate mean anything ??

Cheers

The number off the cluster gear will positive id it...apparently the 1 groove in the input shaft is not a guaranteed id of it being M20...But I would it is.
