Pics are a bit large or large format storage, take forever to load up, and I'm on a fast connection. Feels like dial-up days. Other than that, goodly.

Oh, I'm referring to the train shots, stuff the cars.

Site looks good. I also have only managed to work my way through the train pages yet. :tease:

Is there any other people out there who also have an interest in cars and trains?

Pretty sure I still have my VIA Rail passenger set and CP-Rail 4+4 loco under the bed from my youth. All Canadian in case you haven't figured it out, I also think I still have the snow plow that I started, but yet to complete. One day!!!

Its a bit like that isn't it?

I got Victorian Railways and V/Line stuff, but because i have limited free time, and often i spend that on the car not much is happening at the moment.

thanks for the support guys, i started my website 1. to show my toys and 2. (and most of the reason for it) was to show people how to do some of those things that alot of people don't know about and just need a brief how to, to help them through it, and its kinda grown into part of my life now.

as far as the big pics loading slow, you can blame that on my ISP at the moment, they currently have some cronic issues and you get timeouts occasionally but generally just slow loading, hopefully once its resolved you should be able to use the full 512/512 connection its on!

its interesting to see how many people have had a thing for trains .... my interest is mainly steam trains (the real ones) but i also quite enjoy the models as you can see, and its really only been in the last 2 yrs since i had enough room and some spare money, that i have actually gotten into building my own layout .... and i haven't touched it in about 5 months or more either ...

to bussy playing with my v6 conversion :) ever since i spoke to the engineer and found out what i need to satisfy him its been a huge urge to get it to a stage where i can get it certified

once again, thanks for the kind words and im glad you guys like the site - i plan for it to be around for along time!

Thanks for sharing your interestes and what you have learned mate. Its so true with the time factor isn't it? Fiddling with the car seems to take over any time for trains or other hobbies.

Suppose one of these days i should stick some of my model trains up as well.

V6 conversion you say, Tiger?

Does that mean there is some old VK gear and 12port heads lying around??
Hehehehe.

Keep up the good work mate.
We should direct link some of your pages from the Tech Articles area.

Hopefully we can run into each other soon for a chat.

yeah im putting a VR Commdore V6 into FB Ute :)

as far as 12 port heads and efi goes, i do have some spares yes :) what you after grant ?

will you be at the torana fest this yr ? i wont be entering the torana but i will be trying my best to get in there for a look and a chat thats for sure!

oh and another thing i have been starting to get into is re-programming commdore ecu's, so far i have gotten a bit more go out of a vn/vp v6 and the next challenge is to play with the VR computer, its alot more complex, it controls the gearbox aswell (auto) but im looking forward to tuning my engine myself once i modify it :)

and now that i can re-program them i'll be moving forward on fitting the delco computer etc to the holden 6 and hopefully getting some more out of that too :)

and if anyone wants to chat and uses msn you can get me ... sammy @ oldholdens.com

Kind of after the whole kit-and-kaboodle - head, injection manifold, throttle body, sensors, etc.

Then I can make a start before converting over to J-rods later model throttle body system.......

Should be at T-Fest but still nailing that down.
