I spotted this at the car park at St Andrews Hospital Toowoomba.  It was really a show and shine in a car park, my car is in the back ground. Now who knows what the acronym Q.A.T.B stands for?

One of my favourites. Big fat twin turbo torque monster. Much prettier in the flesh than the pictures.
This is his second one, updated about a year ago.

Nearly stock apart from the gun engine.

"Those Bonnet Latches Aren't Original M8"  :stirpot: They weren't used until XY, whilst XT had steel pins, I think XR GT's were only available in 1 colour bronze/gold, Whilst 2 or 3 colours in XT white, gold/lighter bronze than XR and not sure about XW GT's colour range, When the "mighty XY" was released think it was any colour/flavour your wallet could pay for, Naturally it was always just trying to keep up with The Giant Killer XU1's most colourful choices......

Yeah, the grille was different, plus the XR GTs didn't have driving lights.

XT GTs didn't get bonnet pins, they didn't start until XW.

The XR GT 'officially' only came in the gold colour but a small number of silver ones were made for the sponsor of the 1967 Bathurst race, the Gallaher cigarette company. There were a few others painted Ivy Green, including the one which won the race that year.

The XT GT from memory had 5 colours: White, Dark Green, Silver, Gold & Candy Apple Red.
