g'day,on the drivers side where the rack comes out the fire wall, whats the joint called where the 2 shafts meet??? also where do i buy it from i cant find anyone with one

Its referred to as the steering knuckle or steering shaft uni joint.
Think rarespares has them new for $100+ !

There are always some old and new (old stock) for sale on eBay (search parts/torana), you could steal one of their photo's and take it in to Rare Spares to show him exactly what you want
