Doing a restore on an LX lower dash and would like to find out if there is a template or the like for the painted triangles ETC on the heater controls

Has anyone used anything or had any experience in doing these

Any thoughts or info welcome

I did my symbols/knobs no worries with a fine paint brush and patience.

How the hell did you nail the fan ??

Sorry to jump in but on a black wrinkle finish dash they are not too difficult as the symbols are recessed into the plastic with a visible outline.

And what sort of paint? Was it specifically for plastic? Does it still look good?  Would you like to fly over and do mine???????????

Lolz. I went to start the car on the weekend but the 32month old battery has died. Has 36 months warranty so will try my luck at a replacement.... $280 worth.... I hope so..... 

 

So at some point Ill have to access the car and will try and get some updated pics. 

 

I cannot recall what paint I used at all. Im usually good at remembering.... but this just escapes me entirely.... Maybe it was Tamiya hobby paint?
