Im genuinely struggling to work out wtf FNQ is on about....

I wasnt sure, so thought about it for a bit, forgot about it, TK answered, all was good, then suddenly we have a novel that doesnt come close to the actual question?

Dave has an interesting Q.

I have def seen similar with non LPG heads though.

sorry to sunburst and to bomber regarding the confusion.  I was trying to quote some statements sunsburst made but somehow  the formatting got lost and then i recopied it a few more times for absolute confusion!!!. ( don;t ask me how)

My point was a forum sometimes includes not so good info as well as the good. ( Not always a good thing but not always side tracks for no reasons)

Too early Sunday morning, for me to be posting

Don't panic Darryl, plenty of others post confusing comments & i write like a 5 year old @ that time of the morning too ! I think Jas got his answer from Tony, so all is good now. It's part of any public forum to get some speculation & assumptions & unfortunately usually when you need a definitive answer. Gary.

The colour of your exhaust valves is typical of leaded petrol. The leaner the mixture the whiter the colour.
