We arrived in Port Arthur and signed in for our stay at the Port Arthur Villas which we can all recommend highly
To go on the Ghost Tour we only had to walk about 100 metres and then we were in the back of the Port Arthur grounds, very convenient
Our tour guide provided lighting for the night and I wasn't scared of the dark but I took my own LED torch just in case the lanterns blew out
The night was still and we were lucky to start our ghost tour at the right time of night when the sun had almost gone down providing me with this shot
At this particular building, there were reports of spirits/ghosts being sighted and some eerie noises
Can you make out any ghostly figures in this window opening
Have a closer look
One of our group said that she had seen the spirit of a lady in a blue dress
Now that is spooky
Onward to another building and down these stairs
AND to a room that was used by the Port Arthur Surgeon who performed "investigative" operations on corpses on this table
A great night and one not to miss if you ever visit Port Arthur
Next morning it was brekkie at the BBQ with chef Trevor and helper Mick
We then headed off back to the grounds of Port Arthur and it is truly picturesque
Speaking of pictures, Trevor got framed in this shot
AND the girls got in on the act
Walking the catwalk or that should be boardwalk were these 3 suave and sophisticated fellas
A bit more of the sights of Port Arthur
AND
AND we finished off with a look-see in the main tourist centre where Pete ran into this argumentative fella so Pete gave it back to him
Next on tour is the Isle of the Dead
