The new ford "DeJaVu" is a pretty decent looking dark green.

Hothouse green is a metallic. Do you want the darker green to be metallic as well?
How much darker do you want to go? Sticking with Holden colours, you could do Laurel Green Pearl for a middish green (716H/C166) or if you want darker than that, try Capricorn Green Pearl (C137)
The Capricorn would be closest to British racing green.

id go the SV green ^^^ or how about your paint shop mix up a sample of 70% black and 30% hot house green. about 500ml shouldnt set you back much.
ask the mixer for his advice on it as i dont know if this be too light or dark for ya. you can always vary the ratio and write it down for future paint matching ease.

you could just go to your paintshop and ask to get Hothouse green in a few shades darker, tell them wat you want to do and they will mix it up for you...

If you are going to try a different colour (like from the ford etc) they may have some colours in it that doesnt work with hothouse... (like a blue tint or something, im not sure but just thinkin out loud)

^just ask for SV5000 green, they get that all the time. you can get the code with the paint. ^no probs.
just ask to see a shade first, just to be sure BEFORE mixing as ive made the mistake of when being asked and just replying without looking and ended up with the wrong color.
