Okay guys I'll probably head down to in the morning, snap a few shots, have a chat and move on with the rest of my day. Not sure how much time I'll have yet.

hey everyone,

just thought id add my 2 cents.

If anyones planning on bringing there cars down tomorrow even for a looksie, please be on your best behaviour, we dont tolerate any stoopid driving out the front. I trust everyone will be sensible. Its not a drag strip out the front!!!

Cant wait to see how the day pans out, sounds like theres going to be some awesome cars attending the day, so make sure you bring down your video cameras, cameras and maybe earplugs, hehe. It can get pretty loud with thos open pipes, oh maybe some tissues, i remember last year there were quite a few of brought to tears from sweet smelling cars, hehe.

Glad you enjoyed it Ed! Yours and Rick's torrie's both looked great (and sounded great!!!) at full noise!

The day was a massive success - we broke our record and dyno'd 53 cars this year, we were absolutely stuffed by the end of it all! The 3 supercharged cars were unreal hearing them at full noise too :)

I was a bit bummed with LXCHEV though, it put down a steady 216rwkw, but had made 228 a few months ago on the same dyno. The only thing I've changed was the plugs - I went from 6's down to colder 7's.

I also put my hatchback on. It pulled a new best of 86.4rwkw. Not bad for a totally dead stock 253 with a 2 barrel carb. On the dyno it showed it's really struggling to breathe with massive manifold vacuum (over 3 inches). I reckon a 4 barrel intake with a nice quaddy will get it up to 100kw..

Overall throughout the day, other cars ranged from 50kw right up to 333kw.

Man I had a blast!

Cheers, and thanks to all the gmh forumers who popped in throughout the day, there were quite a few which was excellent to see!

Cheers

:)

Yeah, was a great time! I just popped in for the last couple of hours and still had fun. Some nice old fords XT-XY pulling big HP, was great to watch, hear, feel. My ears were ringing all night and my eyes sore from the fumes, gotta love it. Good to catch up with Heath and Toranr Amore as well and say hi to Brett too. Well done on oranganising such a big gig to Brett, I'm not suprised you were stuffed by the end of it, 53 is a hell of a lot of cars.
