HSV are usually 4 pot calipers, or you can get Alcon or similar brand 4 or 6 pot, these all suit VT on and V2 Monaro. Hope this helps. finally got some

VT-VZ standard at 2 pot on 296mm disc
VT-VY HSV "performance" are 2 pot on 330mm disc
VT-VZ S1 HSV "premium" are Harrop and are 4 pot on 343mm disc
GTS have optional 6 pot AP on 362mm disc
VZ Monaro have 2 pot on 320mm disc
New VZ HSV can have small AP 4 pot on 350mm disc

These are all just the fronts
None bolt straight onto Toranas (different caliper mount)

hold on a minute, i thought HQ had larger brakes than torana, there for the bolt holes for the caliper would be further away from the axle than torana, more closer to commodore whith both run approx. 300mm brakes. i said approx.
what size disk tory running?

Different stub
But same mount pattern for the caliper as in 3.5" between bolt holes
Torana runs 256mm disc and HQ 276
The ears are different on the stub to hold the caliper in relation to the centre of the stub. Hence the bigger disc on the Q
You can fit a commodore disc to a HQ or Torana spindle but the caliper bolt holes won't line up with the stub..... on either stub

I've been told by a few brake specialist that using VT calipers on a Torana is not a good option as they wont clear the crossmember and top control arms on full lock.

Haven't tried to fit them myself. Anyone had any luck fitting VT calipers to a Torana?
