A bunch of us here from Canberra are chanting at the bit to take our cars drag racing in Sydney. There used to be a fairly regular GMH Torana drag day. Anything in the pipeline...I couldn't find anything? Be about 10 of us keen to join in if there is one.

We are coming up on the 31st August for the day as there is a street meet but the way things have been lately, you have to get there so early to ensure you get a run. Coming up from Canberra and being turned away would be very frustrating :-(

Ill throw up a thread in the NSW section if you want. The regular sydney day didnt happen this year as it was so stressful getting numbers. Everyone would say yes but handing over the money was a different story.

Ill make august 31st thread up and throw it to the regulars. Be good to catch up and meet some folks

Hi Gerry, I went up on last Sunday (29.6) with 2 cars. Got to the gate at 10am, was advertised as a 10am start. They had sold out 1/2Hr earlier !

Had to go back on the Wednesday night !

Still in negotiations with the track to pre-book a spot for travellers. It is a long way to go towing a car to get turned around due to too many entries.

Andrew we are too. Trying to organise a spot for us southerners. Waiting on a call from SD as I write this.
